Footage found at the scene of a "domestic incident" reveals the preceding events a couple went through before police were called for a welfare check at their duplex apartment home. The audience is navigated through the couple's lives immediately before the police report was made and is given an inside look at the pieces they documented that lead to a violent confrontation. Things are not what they seem to be.
